I began working for Empire Property Management at a young age, starting in the family business and learning what I could from the small office work my father gave me. After going through the learning curves in entering contacts and scanning, I started dealing with more complex work – scanning in the contracts, entering rents, etc.. Eventually, I became experienced enough to build the contracts themselves, make out notices, and work my way into the leasing side of the business. As the company grew, I moved out of leasing and began taking care of the accounting side of the business.

I’ve always loved playing the piano, spending long hours on my favorite pieces and practicing the new. A long-term goal of mine is to be a concert pianist… if possible, and if my fingers play long enough. 😉 Give me a cup of coffee and a huge history book, and I’ll be happy enough to read for hours! I love listening to classical music late at night, writing the occasional short story and shooting bows and guns with my family.
